Zabaglione alle Mandorle

Some people might object to this as a true Italian zabaglione since I didn't cook it over a double-boiler, so, perhaps it's more similar to a Dutch advocaat. But whatever you want to call this, it's a delicious way to end a meal.

Ingredients
5 egg yolks
sprinkle of salt
2/3 cup organic granulated sugar
2 teaspoons almond extract
1/4 cup Frangelico

Procedure
Beat the egg yolks, salt and sugar until thickened. Slowly trickle in the Frangelico and almond extract. Keep beating. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and warm over a low heat, continuously whisking. It is ready when it coats the back of a spoon. Serve the zabaglione in small servings!
The Alphabet Challenge So Far...
My posts are below with links to everyone else's recipes. I skipped letter 'F' apparently. Enjoy!
Of course, the longer I spend at the heart of the watch world, where collectors sometimes care about hairsprings and power reserves and lug-to-lug measurements even more than they care about what the timepiece in question actually looks like, the harder it is to link remain on the periphery. Sometimes an outsider's perspective can be a valuable commodity in link this funny little bubble (even if it makes certain people VERY mad), but I know link that by working here I'm moving from the outside in.
So, too, with the seven Mercury astronauts. Their names are still etched in my mind – there were two Cs; two Gs, and the three Ss: Carpenter and Cooper; Glenn and Grissom; link Schirra, Shepard and Slayton. Some friends chose their favorites based on the branch of the military they had served in – Navy, Air Force, or Marines. The media showed link us link their smiles, their wit and – of course – their wives.
This looks creamy, delicious, and a perfetc dessert!
Rich, creamy a bit boozy, perfect for the cold season. Will have to try out this recipe.
Call it whatever you want, it looks delicious! I remember eating it when I was a kid at my Italian grandmother's house, have never tried making it myself but now I want to!
