Matcha Blueberry Bread

This is the second bread I baked for D's Finals Week care package. I wanted to keep some of this creation for myself, so I doubled the recipe.


Ingredients


  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  • 1 Tablespoon matcha powder

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla bean paste

  • 2-1/4 cups flour

  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder

  • 3/4 cup organic granulated sugar

  • 3/4 cup Butter olive oil (or any olive oil that you prefer)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1-1/3 cups dehydrated blueberries

  • Also needed: baking pan


Procedure


Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Whisk together all wet ingredients. Mix all dry ingredients. Stir until just moistened. Fold in the blueberries.


Spoon into loaf pan. Bake until golden brown (approximately 45 minutes) and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool completely before slicing.
